If you are looking for a pleasant solution without using harsh chemicals or breaking the bank, this homemade spray is easy to make, uses simple ingredients, and smells amazing! DIY before-you-go spray is great for travel, college-students, and it also serves as a perfect homemade gift!
How to Make Your Own Before-You-Go Toilet Spray

What You Will Need
Essential Oil Combinations
Lavender Vanilla: Lavender and vanilla
Fresh Citrus: Lemon, lime, and orange
Minty Fresh: Tea tree and peppermint
Festive Spice: Cinnamon and orange
Warm Woods: Cedarwood and sandalwood

Instructions
Add Rubbing Alcohol or Vodka: Pour 1/2 teaspoon rubbing alcohol into your glass spray bottle using a funnel.
Add Essential Oils: Add 30 - 40 drops of your favorite essential oil or oil combination.
Add Glycerin (optional): Add 1 teaspoon of vegetable glycerin, which will help the scent last longer.
Fill with Water: Top off the rest of the bottle with distilled water, leaving room at the top for shaking.
Shake Well: Shake the bottle well to combine all of the ingredients. Shake the bottle before each use to ensure the oils are evenly distributed.
How to Use
To use your DIY bathroom spray, shake well and spray 3-5 times directly into the toilet bowl before each use. The essential oils will create a barrier on the water's surface, trapping any unpleasant odors.
Test Your Oils: Essential oils can be potent if not diluted properly and may stain surfaces or irritate sensitive skin. Do a patch test!
